What We Guarantee

Perfect Fit

Your sail will be custom designed to precisely fit your boat’s rig, based on measurements provided by you or taken by a skilled Rolly Tasker Sails representative.

We guarantee the accuracy of all key two-dimensional measurements: luff, leech, foot, and clew height.

If there’s a fit issue due to our measurements or production, we’ll repair or replace the sail at no cost.

System Compatibility

Your sail will integrate seamlessly with your yacht’s systems such as furlers, sail tracks, hydraulic winches, reefing gear, and battens based on the information you supply. If the sail does not function correctly due to a design or manufacturing fault (excluding yacht system issues), we’ll repair or replace it free of charge within the first year.

Materials & Workmanship

We use only top-tier sailcloth, hardware and components from trusted global suppliers.  If your sail shows defects in materials or workmanship within 2 years, we’ll repair or replace it at no charge.

Sail Care Guidelines

To ensure maximum performance and longevity of your sails, please follow these care recommendations:

🌞UV Protection

Always protect your sails from sun exposure when not in use:

  • Furling sails should be fully shielded by the UV strip.
  • Mainsails should be covered completely with a well-fitted mainsail cover.

💧Dry Storage

Ensure your sails are completely dry before storing them for any extended period to prevent mould and mildew.

🌬️Use Within Wind Range

Operate sails within their intended wind range to prevent overloading and premature wear.

🚫Avoid Flogging

Excessive flogging or leech flutter reduces sail life and performance.

Once hoisted, always trim the sail promptly. If conditions don't allow it (e.g. motoring into the wind), furl or drop the sail.

⚙️Leech Line Adjustment

Use the leech line to stop flutter by applying just enough tension. Adjust as wind strength or sheet tension changes. Correct genoa car positioning also helps reduce flogging.

🧵Prevent Chafe

Inspect your rig for sharp edges, burrs, split pins, or other abrasive contact points.  Use spreader patches and maintain clean rigging to avoid unnecessary wear.

🔧Prompt Repairs

If you notice a tear or wear spot, patch it immediately. Small issues, if addressed early, help prevent major failures.
