Rolly Tasker Coastal Sails are designed for recreational cruisers and club racers who look for a combination of durability and performance for boats up to 36ft. The sails are built in crosscut design in a strong construction finish with use of High Modulus Dacron fabrics to ensure durability and shape holding. They have been extremely popular for such yachts as Adams, Beneteau, S&S, Bavaria, Jeanneau, Endeavour, Clansman, Roberts, South Coast, Swanson, Columbia, Cavalier and similar ranges.

Offshore Crosscut

The sails are manufactured to our highest construction and finish specification to guarantee trouble-free, long life use and performance. They are extremely strong and low in stretch due to choosing the highest quality Dacron available from the world’s leading cloth manufacturers such as Marblehead or Fastnet.

Offshore Tri-Radial

The Rolly Tasker High Performance Cruising range is developed for performance orientated cruising sailors. These premium cruising sails are designed in Tri-Radial cut and made out of quality Dacrons such as Newport Pro-Radial or Warp Drive from Challenge Sailcloth or Polyester Cruising Laminates such as Contender CDX Pro from Dimension Polyant.

The Rolly Tasker Performance Sails range is designed for performance orientated sailors who want to participate in racing as well as cruising.

Performance - LITE SKIN®

Rolly Tasker Sails is proud to introduce a new Lite Skin® range of fabrics suited for performance sailing which offer excellent value for money.

Being crosscut, they hold shape through the broadseams and have less seams thus ensuring durability and shape holding. The addition of Dimension-Polyant Lite Skin® outer layers protects the film, reduces film shrink over time, offers less water absorption than a traditional taffeta and provides increased chafe protection compared to film-only laminates. The external layer is coated with UVt®, DP’s proprietary UV and anti-microbial finish to increase UV protection while deterring mildew growth. The Heavy version for boats up to 40′ is constructed from an aramid scrim for reduced material stretch.

Performance - CDX PRO® - COOL GREY

Our CDX Pro Polyester Cruising laminates made with ZigZag yarn technology enable you to have a sail made out of radial panels that matches the modern rigging of your yacht. The yarns in ZigZag reinforced laminates are laid at angles such that the forces in the sail are distributed evenly over the radial panels. This results in a sail with excellent ability to retain its shape, giving you more efficient sailing in varying wind strengths, without impacting on the ease of handling of your sail.
