Furling Headsail Covers are used to protect headsails that do not have UV fabric installed on their leech and foot from the effects of sun and weathering.  They are custom made to suit your specific luff length and are ideal for the sailor who doesn’t want the added weight of UV fabric on their sail.  Naturally, one single sock can be used on your full range of headsails.

ORDERING THE RIGHT SIZE COVER

All of our Furling Headsail Covers are ‘made to order’ to ensure a perfect fit and avoid flogging and chafe.  

The 2 key measurements that we require are are asked for during the checkout process. They are;

1.     Finished Length - the maximum hoist from halyard clip to tack pin

2.     Clew Circumference - the circumference of the furled sail at the clew (jib sheets) - widest part

Our Furling Headsail Covers are constructed from high quality Sunbrella Marine UV fabric and come in their full range of colours to match your existing covers.  Their key features are:

DELIVERY

Once we finalise your order with you, delivery is usually about 4 weeks, however it may vary depending on sail size and construction time.   At the point of 'online checkout' for your order a freight charge will be calculated based on the median freight cost for Capital Cities and Major Regional Centres.   Depending on your location there may be a variation in the actual freight cost, in this situation you will be notified of any adjustment to the cost of shipping your order.

WARRANTY

We warrant your new covers to be free from all defects in material, hardware and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. This excludes any damage from neglect, mishandling or UV damage. If you have any concerns with your new sails, be sure to contact us at your earliest opportunity.
