Continuous line Code C and Code 0 Furler
Designed by active sailors for reaching and downwind sails and especially the Rolly Tasker Sails Code C and Code 0, which are set on their own straight luff with an anti-torsion rope. Makes it easy to hoist, manoeuvrer and recover large, free hoisting headsails. for trouble-free, easy operation on board. The special, quick-release connecting bolts on both the furler and the top swivel can easily be opened and closed even with cold and numb fingers.
Robust and clever
Sveggen furlers are a clever design and with robust construction, milled from a single piece of hard adonized 7075 aluminium to endure even the most severe conditions at sea. The robust and compact furler and top swivel are designed with a breaking load thats double the max working load we list below. They utilise enclosed stainless-steel ball bearings for easy furling even under heavy load with an easy to feed 10mm line for a good grip.
Designed by experienced sailors
Sveggen furling gear has been developed by the French engineer David Bonnafois, a highly experienced yachtsman. As the owner of a specialised company that makes highly complex parts for watches, helicopters and the aerospace industry, he decided to design and make furling gear for his own boat. The new Sveggen furlers are the result of extensive practical testing on the water helped by input from his fellow sailors, to make a furler that is robust yet easy and reliable to use, even in adverse conditions.

WANT TO SEE YOUR CREW SMILE?
The power and acceleration achieved when unfurling a Code 0 or Code C is spectacular and it makes sailing that much more enjoyable.
Simply hoist the furled sail, release the furling line, pull on the sheet and you have added horse power to your sailing and given your crew a positive sailing experience. To douse the sail, ease the sheet, pull the continuous furling line and secure it. Once the sail is furled it can be neatly dropped and coiled into a bag or left hoisted for later use.
THE CODE 0
The Volvo Ocean Race was the break through for the Code 0 concept, but lately the benefits of this type of sail have become recognised and appreciated also amongst ordinary sailors for the extra power it brings to light wind sailing. The luff is straight, set under tension and made for furling which simplifies the handling of this large sail. An AT-cable is integrated in the luff of the sail and fitted with thimbles in head and tack, and the entire luff length is furled simultaneously. The Code 0 is hoisted as high as the mast dimension permits and is tacked to the bow or to a sturdy bowsprit. The design is quite flat and reaches its maximum performance in apparent wind angles between 40° and 90° whilst also being a great downwind sail for the cruising sailor.
