Our Hobie 16 sails are built to full ‘race quality’ and while not certified by the IHCA for class racing, they are manufactured to the same high standard as the official race sails in top quality Challenge Newport 6.03 Dacron. They are ideally suited to the recreational sailor, off-the-beach charter or for club racing where permitted and are available in many different multi-colour themes and single solid colours.

•Fully battened (battens not included)
•Batten pockets on panel seams with shroud protection
•High quality luff tape
•Luff and Leech tell tales
•View / tell tale window
•Hobie insignia
•Sail numbers in official Hobie 16 lettering
•High strength, low-hygroscopicity and UV resistant bonded sail thread
•Extra long sail bag
Colour Choices
•You can choose from a range of multicoloured mainsails from the options in the gallery. These are the only colour patterns available (we cannot produce custom colour designs)
Batten Kit
•Sails are sold without battens to allow you to re-use your existing battens where possible, or you can select the supply batten option and we will send you a batten kit that will need to be simply trimmed/cut to size.
DELIVERY
Once we finalise your order with you, delivery is usually about 4 weeks. At the point of 'online checkout' for your order a freight charge will be calculated based on the median freight cost for Capital Cities and Major Regional Centres. Depending on your location there may be a variation in the actual freight cost, in this situation you will be notified of any adjustment to the cost of shipping your order.

We warrant your new sails to be free from all defects in material, hardware and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. This excludes any damage from neglect, mishandling or UV damage. If you have any concerns with your new sails, be sure to contact us at your earliest opportunity.
